Living in beautiful Savannah, Georgia during my Ph.D. is a true dream come true! As a Ph.D. candidate, I have realized the impact that relaxation and leisure have on our performance. During most days of the week, I am knee-deep in coursework, research, studying for exams, and working on my dissertation. I have prioritized taking one day a week to relax in the city. Discovering new coffeehouses in the Savannah area has become one of my favorite hobbies. Bull Street is one of my most treasured areas of Savannah to explore. There are several eclectic coffeehouses and eateries along Bull Street. Last Friday, I was in for such a treat! Our first stop was Nom Nom Poke Shop.

Nom Nom Poke Shop is a cozy Asian fusion restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Here you will find an array of delicious seafood bowls.

After finishing a delicious meal at Nom Nom Poke Shop, we walked further down Bull Street and found the ever-popular Foxy Loxy Cafe. This beautifully vintage coffeehouse is an excellent place to enjoy a cup of coffee while getting work done!

Once discovering all that Foxy Loxy had to offer, we strolled further down Bull Street to Henny Penny Art Space & Cafe. This coffeehouse lives up to its name. Upon arriving, we were amazed by the beautiful paintings and activities for children. I ordered a mocha latte (it was delicious) and found a table to relax.

We thoroughly enjoyed the lively atmosphere that Henny Penny had to offer! Bull Street is now one of my new favorite places to relax and grab the perfect cup of joe.
